Salo Sterental is the Co-Founder of SoStereo, a music startup working to streamline the brand-to-artist relationship. Creating innovative music discovery, data, and licensing tools, SoStereo makes it easy for brands to find, understand, and work with the right artists for given campaigns – initially focusing on music for video content and sync licenses. Having a strategic focus on Latin music and the US-Hispanic market, SoStereo boasts working with 7 of the top 10 US-Hispanic Agencies as brands look to innovate their music strategies to engage USH audiences, showing great early traction from their Q1 soft-launch.
Salo’s trajectory in the music industry has led him to develop the unique blend of creative, technical, and business skills he uses to lead the vision, strategy and business development for SoStereo. He’s seen stops with top industry names such as Sony Latin, Grammy-award winning engineer Jimmy Douglass, renowned production duo The Fliptones, and most recently Zumba Fitness. Alongside Beto Azout (SoStereo Co-Founder), it was their experience with the fitness giant – first as writers and producers of music, and later as business development consultants as they presented, developed, and launched an indie artist through Zumba’s platform – that planted the seeds for what would later be SoStereo and the mission of streamlining the way brands find and work with artists.
