Owen Grover is the General Manager for iHeartRadio, a digital radio service that is a part of iHeartMedia, Inc.
Formerly the Senior Vice President, Content Partnerships for Clear Channel Entertainment Enterprises, he was charged with developing new content programs that drive audience and revenue growth across Clear Channel’s broad array of media platforms.
An integral part of the Clear Channel team since he joined the company in 2005, Grover most recently served as Senior Vice President of the iHeartRadio Network, spanning Clear Channel’s popular iHeartRadio apps and its network of over 850 radio station and personality web sites. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Programming & Marketing, and oversaw the company’s digital marketing and content strategy. Grover was closely involved in the conception, development and launch of iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s free, industry-leading digital radio service.
Grover has been actively involved in the media and entertainment industry for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Clear Channel he was Vice President, Business Development at Telescope, FremantleMedia’s in-house mobile agency. There he developed the company’s sales strategy and established key client and vendor relationships. Grover was also Director, Business Development at Bertelsmann, a German media conglomerate, where he had a special focus on music and new technology. Grover also initiated and implemented cross-divisional business development programs among Bertelsmann’s six business units.
Grover received a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia University. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Erin and their son Devon. A passionate music fan, his favorite band is the Clash.
