Melanie Ehrlich is an actor whose 200+ voiceover credits include Vella Wilde, the lead female protagonist in the highly-anticipated indie RPG YIIK, which has been featured on Kotaku, PCGamer, Engadget, IGN, and Sony’s official Playstation blog. She has worked on RPGs, mobile apps, educational games and more, including Kognito Interactive’s At-Risk series, upcoming rhythm game Slam Fighter II, and iShake, which became a Top Ten Downloaded App in the iTunes store days after its release. Melanie’s voice can also be heard in anime series including Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V and Ladies versus Butlers!, as well as in commercials and narration for Samsung, Apple, Ebay, LG, Johnson & Johnson, and Japan Airlines. On screen, she’s been seen on commercials, in film, and most recently on the TV series Momsters: When Moms Go Bad, hosted by Roseanne Barr.
In addition to her performance work, Melanie is the owner/CEO of Listen To Melanie (LTM), which provides casting, directing, production and consulting services for creative productions. She fully cast and directed the voice acting for the game Norse Noir, notable for including veteran voice actors from games like League of Legends, World Of Warcraft, Grand Theft Auto V, Super Smash Bros., and Bioshock Infinite alongside up-and-coming voiceover talent. She was also the main ADR director for Media Blasters’ first in-house anime dub of Holy Knight, which received over 80,000 views in its first three weeks online.
Melanie has been a speaker at conferences and events including PAX East and IndieCade East, and teaches voice acting classes to aspiring voiceover talent, for which she was one of the top five nominees for Best NYC Voiceover Coach in the 2014 Backstage Reader’s Choice Awards.
