Jim Lidestri is Founder and CEO of Border City Media, a New York-based music technology company that has developed an innovative service, BuzzAngle Music, that has radically changed the way businesses analyze entertainment consumption and related trends. BuzzAngle Music provides a state-of-the-art music consumption service that analyzes the daily sales, streaming and airplay activity of albums, songs and artists to benefit labels, distributors, artist managers, publishers, marketers, tour promoters, radio promoters, music tech companies, brands and advertisers.
Jim is a long-time executive in the Internet and technology markets with more than three decades of experience in the space. In that time, he has handled corporate management for Fortune 500 companies IBM and Sprint, and guided a startup, Interliant, to a $70 million IPO and a $175 million secondary offering.
Lidestri holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in general management from NYU. He was named one of the Top 25 Leaders of the New Millennium by Computer Reseller News magazine.
