A lifelong entrepreneur, Fabrice Sergent is the Co-Founder and CEO of Bandsintown Group. He is a media and Internet pioneer with 20 years of experience, having spoken at prominent music events including Midem, REVOLT Music Conference, DLD, MWC’s 4YFN and the Glimpse Social Discovery Conference. Bandsintown improves the concert-going experience for millions of fans around the world and helps thousands of artists of all sizes and genres to better connect with their core audience. Bandsintown expands the live music market, with over 80% of survey respondents saying they go to more shows after installing Bandsintown – it’s the app that gets New Yorkers out! Under Fabrice’s leadership, the family of Bandsintown apps has attracted over 18 million concert-goers, reaches a global audience of 120 million music fans through Bandsintown Amplified and powers the tour dates for more than 300K artists around the world. Bandsintown has expanded to become the premiere destination where artists and fans connect. Fabrice also serves as chair of the Advisory Board for the Mobile Giving Foundation, for which his Company provides the technology platform enabling charities and non-profits to set up text-to-give programs in the U.S. and Canada. Previously, Fabrice served as the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Club-Internet, a company he founded in 1995 with the support of Lagardère. Club-Internet was one of the first ISP’s launched in France and later became one of the largest ISP’s before it was purchased by Deutsche Telecom’s T-Online in 2000 for 1.2 billion Euro. Fabrice also served for 11 years as the CEO of Lagardère Active Broadband, the digital arm of Lagardère, one of the world’s largest media groups headquartered in Paris. Between 1998 and 2006, he served as a member of the Executive Board of the TV and radio subsidiary of Lagardère (Lagardère Active). Additionally, Fabrice served as a member of the supervisory board of Deutsche Telekom’s T-Online for many years while it was a public company, and a board member for Europe1 Interactive, Hachette Multimedia and Le Monde Interactif. Fabrice holds an MBA from Institut Telecom. He is married, has two children and resides in Westchester County in New York.
